Dear Host Family,
Thank you so much for being willing to participate in the exchange program and accepting me to live with your family.
I am a Ukrainian boy and study in tenth grade. I like to try new things and I want to explore, continue studying and live America. I want to learn about the American culture and share in your life.
I love playing strategy games with my friends. I enjoy physical activity too. I visit gym with my friends and like to play many sport games. I speak two different languages, Ukrainian and Russian, and I look forward to becoming fluent in English. Although I really want to try many US school activities that as i know mostly from movies very unique and interesting, such as school clubs, many grope activities and projects that i don't have opportunity to do in my home country school.
I also have interest to traveling. I was in many european countries and really enjoyed it. I think US is the most interesting country with it's unique culture, diversity nature and absolutely amazing cities that I hope I'll soon see, not only in movies.
My father runs a digital company that develops many websites and applications for both government and private companies and he is interested in sport, history, science, computer games and he shared this interests with me and most of them I like and it's interesting for me even now. My mom also entrepreneur and working with my dad. She doing a lot chores, engaged in self-development and support whole family in their development. My older sister is three years older than me and she is studying in university in United Kingdom now. We are a close family and I hope to become a part of your family as well.
I think the Ukrainian culture is quite funny and unusual. I can share with my host family Ukrainian traditional dishes, show how interesting and funny are Ukrainian songs, clothes and language. I can tell many stories about my live there for example my experience in the garden in the village, helping to grow potatoes in the summer that is usual activity for people in Ukrainian villages and many other country and culture related stories.
Warm Regards,
Timur
