Dear families, I'm Zoé I'm from France, I live in the countryside since my childhood with my parents and my little sister. I'm a very extrovert and curious person and I think it's the first explanation for my choice to do this program. Otherwise, I have dreamt about this project for almost 2 years because I love to learn new things and especially new languages and cultures. The American culture attracts me because in France we have a lot of stereotypes on our minds and I want to discover what is true and what is false. Furthermore, I'm very into sport, I love to outperform and I have a competition mind. I go to the gym, I run sometimes at weekend with my father and I do aerobic gymnastic for 8 years twice a week. So the USA school system which enables students to practice sport after school is very pleasant to me. By the way, when I will be in the USA, I would like to do cheerleading. In France, I pass a lot of moments with my family because they are cornerstones of my life. First, my mother is always there for me when I'm sad to comfort me and she understands me like no one else. Then, I share my passion of cycling with my father because he goes cycling a lot and watches the Tour de France on TV each summer and he passes down this hobby to me. Finally my sister is 4 years younger than me so we laugh and talk a lot about "references" we have in common but yet we have very different natures. I have travelled so much with them, in Reunion Island, in Spain, in Italia or in Corsica because we are crazy about trips. I'm very close to my grandparents and my cousins too because they live nearly enough of me. I visit them too much around family dinners for exemple. Personally, when I was only 12, I went to a summer camp in London on the theme of Harry Potter. Indeed, I'm a big fan of Harry Potter. I think that I have read the books at least 3 times and watched the movies 5 times ! The summer camp experience has motivated myself to do another trip abroad but more longer because it was just incredible and unbelievable. In life, I love hang out with my friends and my boyfriend. We date each other for three years and we are very complementary. My favourite activity with them is go out in "village parties" to dance and sing all night. I'm responsible and my notes at school have always been good so my parents authorize to me a lot of things. I also love listen music all the time because it's a sort of shelter for me. For this, I enjoy assisting at concerts. I also like to read and I have already read in english, and obviously I'm in love about shopping. As one of my dream is to be bilingual and to speak several languages, in the future, I would like to do languages studies. Nevertheless, I'm too indecisive so I would like to do social studies too or else studies about international relations. I don't know exactly what I want to do as a job but I would like to work in the sector of sport and if it will be possible, the high-level sport. The area of journalism or event are areas I'm thinking about. To finish, these are fun facts about me. For starters, I never sleep without my pillow and my cuddle toys. Moreover, I keep all the gifts people give me even the little ones. And I love having a lot of different perfumes even if there are just samples to smell of a different odor on each day.
