When I think about myself, I would describe my personality with the keywords: free-spirited, kind, optimistic, active, and realistic. My MBTI results often alternate between ISFP and ESFP. In addition to the interests I mentioned earlier, such as sports, music, and animation, I also have a strong interest in animals and fashion/beauty. I love animals simply because they are so adorable. Even though humans and animals can’t communicate with words, I feel there is an invisible emotional connection between us. Being with them makes me feel happy and at peace. As for fashion, I prefer styles that are comfortable and suit me well rather than flashy outfits. My favorite clothes are knit sweaters and jeans. I love knitwear for its soft texture and beautiful patterns, and I find it fascinating that jeans can match almost anything. That’s why my favorite seasons are autumn and winter, when I can wear both as much as I like. I also enjoy doing makeup that goes well with my outfits. I first became interested in makeup back in middle school, and since then I’ve had fun experimenting with different products and styles. This is my self-introduction. Although one year may feel short, I will do my best to live happily and harmoniously during that time. Through this exchange program, I hope to experience and learn about many aspects of American culture, while also discovering what I truly want to do in the future. I am very thankful for the opportunity to become a part of my host family’s life—sharing everyday moments at home as if we were real family, and enjoying school life together with friends.
