Dear future host family, my name is Luis. In this letter i want to tell you a little bit about my personality and what is waiting for you if you host me, for my year abroad. You must know, that I am a really open and confident person. I talk open about every things, that come to my mind. I am a really open person and I love to talk with people. Because of that I like to be around many people. I love to try new things and learn from them. I won´t hesitate to take the first step into something unknown, unless i know that it is dangerous or prohibited. The same mentality, I had when I was thinking about doing a year abroad. You also have to know, that i am really good with people. I have a younger brother and i think it is so nice to have a sibling, because you always have an oppurtunity to talk with someone who is not your mother or father, but as close as they. I like to be with lots of people. I am also very good with kids. Sometimes I babysit the neighbour´s children. I love playing with kids, because thy are not so complicated as older people. When i try new things, I am always optimistic that whatever I try is going to have, at least one good thing. Thats another fact about me. Sometimes my friends say, that i am too optimistic, but I think you can´t be optimistic enough, if you look around you can see that there is beauty everywhere. If you take me as your guestchild, i can guarentee you, that you we will have a lot of adventures together. Another fact about me is, that i am really into fitness. I am working out at the gym about 3 times. I would love continue this habit in the USA, so a nearby gym where i could go be so nice. I like to play sports and try new sports. Thats the way, i found my favourite sport basketball. I am looking forward to play basketball in the USA, because here in germany, it doesn´t get that much apprectiation and isn´t that famous unlike in the USA. The coolest thing is that you can connect so much through this sport and get to know so many new people. I also love to be outside and go for a hike, if it´s possible. I also play two instruments, the piano and the guitar. Music plays a big role in my life. I love creating and playing music, but i also love to listen to it. The coolest thing on music is that there is so unbelivably many differnent kinds of it, so every single human has somehing to hear. Another big passion of mine is traveling. It hasn´t been for that long, but it has grown so much in the past. As I said before, i love to see nature and the wonders of it. The best way to experience the different kinds of natures on earth is traveling. Especialy in the USA, you can see so much. But to see new cities and learn new cultures through traveling is also very interesting. It´s the combination of experiencing new things and spend time with people you love, that makes traveling so nice. I really hope, that this letter reaches the right host family. I also hope that we maybe can share some interests. Like I said in this letter, I am not afraid to take the step into the unknown and i am very optimistic, so i´m sure this reaches the right people.
