Dear host family, Hi! My name is Mateus, and I'm so excited to be writting this letter to you. We haven't met yet, but I want to thank you for being willing to open your home to me and giving me the opportunity to experience life in a different country. A little bit about me: I’m someone who’s very curious and always eager to learn. I love discovering new places, meeting new people, and living new experiences. That’s one of the main reasons I applied for this exchange program: I want to truly experience a different culture from the inside, not just as a tourist. In my free time, I love to play the piano. I’ve been playing for a few years now, and I really enjoy it. Music helps me relax and express myself. I also love being active, whether it’s going for a run, playing soccer or volleyball with friends, or just doing something outdoors. I’d describe myself as pretty open and easy to talk to. I enjoy having real conversations and getting to know people, and I always try to be respectful and understanding of others' views and traditions. I try to be responsible and helpful, especially when I’m part of a group or a family. As for my future, I’m really interested in technology and robotics. I'm good at solving problems and I like to understand how things work. I hope to study something related to engineering or robotics after high school. I’m really looking forward to becoming part of your family. I know it'll be a big change for all of us, but I’ll do my best to adapt, help out, and make this a positive experience for all of us.
