Dear host family,
My name is Théo, and I come from France. I am the youngest in my family because I have three older brothers. I am really excited to live this adventure in the United States and to have the chance to share your daily life.
I am a sociable and calm person… but I can also be energetic, especially if you challenge me in sports (just be careful, I don’t always let people win 😄). I love racket sports like tennis and badminton, but I also enjoy fishing. Basically, if it involves running after a ball, I’m in! I also play video games, but don’t worry—I know when to put the controller down.
At school, I usually get good grades (although I can’t say math is my favorite subject… but who really loves math?). I am very close to my family, and every summer I enjoy spending time with my grandparents. I like helping them and sharing good times together. Most of the time, I live with my mother, since my parents are divorced.
I love learning English, and that’s why I am coming to the U.S. When my mother told me about this project, I was super excited! I passed an English test (thankfully 😅), and since then I can only think about one thing: meeting you, discovering your culture… and maybe trying a real American hamburger 🍔. In return, I would be happy to cook you some delicious French meals, so that I can also share a bit of my own culture 🇫🇷.
I can’t wait to meet you, share great moments together, and discover the place where I will live.
With all my friendship (and a bit of humor),
Théo
