Dear future host family Hello, I’m Mei. Thank you for your interest in our program. My dream is to connect Japanese people and people in other countries as a bridge. Recently, I’ve been interested in jobs such as diplomats and flight attendants, and so on. For that reason, I’d like to study various cultures to study in America. In addition, I have been to China for two years when I was young. I struggled to live with a different culture and language from Japan, but I was able to experience many things by living abroad. So, decided to study abroad, and I’d like to go overseas by myself again and lay the foundation for my dream. I spend my time on weekends doing a club activity of cheerleading. And I sometimes go shopping or watch movies with my family. I’d like to go to many places that you recommended and go together during this program. Also, I ‘d like to know about American original cultures. I want to teach people about the good aspects of Japanese culture, too. For example, I would like to teach how to fold origami, Japanese paper craft. I’m very glad you read my letter. I hope we can spend good times and make a lot of memories while I stay in America.
