Dear host family, I’m a french student and my name is Sanaé. I’m already looking forward to the stay in the U.S.A. I’m really excited to take the plane to go to the other side of the world and learn more about you, your culture and your way of life. I already know a little about how American high schools work thanks to social media but I can’t wait to experience it myself ! I am open for new things. I love doing sports, espacially walk because it is something simple and it relaxes me. Also, since i am a little kid, I do horseback riding and I have my own horses at home. I really love to dance every time music plays and I just joined a club. I would like to be a cheerleader when I will be in the U.S.A because this is my childhood dream. In general, I am a very tactile person. I mean when I don’t feel well or simply when I am happy, I need someone to hug. I think this is the reason why I make friends easily. I attach great importance to niceness because I know how bad you can feel when someone is mean to you. And I try my best to never exclude anyone when we hang out with friends. Then, I help a lot my mother at home because I know that it makes her happy and that she has a lot of work. For example, I do the cleaning, I do laundry, I put the dishes in the dishwasher so thanks to that she has more time for herself. People often tell me that I am a very generous girl. Indeed, I really like giving gifts to the people around me. I will do anything to make them happy. My friends say that I’m very attentive and that they can count on me when they have a problem. I also have problems sometimes and I call without hesitation my parents or my friends. I am not ashamed to admit it. I really like to spend time with my friends. When I am with them, I spend most of the time laughing. I don’t often go to parties because i’m too young for now. My love for music is unconditional. However, I didn’t have the chance to go to a concert because most of the artists I listen to are not French and getting tickets is very complicated. I like to try new food or cook. By the way, in terms of food, I like everything except cumcumber. I can cook whatever you want as long I have a receipe. I love to do things by myself, and when I have finished to create something, it makes me more confident. That’s actually a feeling that I cannot explain. Reading is one of my favourite thing in life. My imagination has no limits thanks to my readings and the movies I watch. In my world, movies take a lot of space. I can live different lives. In case you didn’t know already, I don’t have any allergies and and I love pets so much !! They’re like my guilty pleasure. Don’t worry, I’m not eating them ! Some of my dreams can be like I want to spend christmas in New York at least once in my life and some can be like I want to meet my favourites artits before they die. They are really random. Also I want to right a book so bad. I don’t like to go to french schools because french school system is so boring and so hard to live. In case you didn’t know, we are the only country to have class from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. We don’t have any sport or activities in the afternoon. Instead, we have to work for 8 hours with only two poses of 15 minutes and one pose of 45 minutes to eat. And when we come home, we still have to do our homeworks during at least two hours. This is very exhausting. This is one of the reason why I wanna come to the U.S.A. I wanna study in a differnet school system, with different schedules and different subjects. Others things that I can say about my family are that my parents are separated so most of the time I live with my mom and my sister. When I am with my mom during two weeks, I am with my dad only one weekend. When I think of my future life, I see myself as a fashion stylist and a fashion model. Later on I would like to study fashion in Paris and then move to New York .And at the same time, I am an deep sea archeologist. Then, I know that I will be a host mom to allow teenagers to realize their dream, like me. Thank you so much for reading my letter !! If you are my future host family, I am very grateful to you!
