Dear Host Family, Hello! My name is Jueun, and I would like to sincerely thank you for choosing me to be part of your family. I’ll do my very best to make sure you never regret it. I decided to participate in this exchange program because I want to improve my English and experience a new culture. I’m very outgoing and friendly, and I enjoy meeting new people, so I believe I’ll be able to make friends easily and adjust well to my new environment. Lately, I’ve become very interested in listening to LPs. I love the warm, vintage sound that comes from them—it feels very different from digital music. I’d be happy to share some of my favorite songs with you if you’d like! I’m also really looking forward to cooking with my host family. It would be so much fun to have a small cooking competition together just for fun. I also can’t wait to decorate the Christmas tree. I love the movie Home Alone because it’s all about celebrating Christmas—it looks so warm and cozy, just like the kind of atmosphere I hope to experience with you.
