Dear Host Family, thank you very much for taking part in this exchange program and for giving me the opportunity to live with your family. I'm really looking forward to getting to know you. I am a German girl and have just finished my freshman year of high school. I am both an introvert and extrovert it depends on the situation but most of the time I am very outgoing and a funloving person.I want to learn more about American culture and let you know more about German culture in contrast. I really like experiencing and trying new things and I think that the American culture is a interesting country to experience new things. I enjoy spending time with my family, we like to go on vacation together my favorite vacation is when we go snowboarding in the winter holidays or in the summer going to a warm place to enjoy the warm weather. I also love taking care of my pets I have a cat, two turtles and fish. Whenever I am bored I love to bake cakes, cookies and other yummy things. Sometimes I enjoy to crochet and trying tutorials for new DIY's. On Sundays me and my mom like to go on flea markets and going to thrift stores. In school I am learning French and I really enjoy learning a new language. I also have English in school, but I am looking forward to someday be fluent in it. I don't really do a sport here in Germany, but I am very open to try a new sport club in America. My dad works in a company that renovate and sell apartments, he is working really hard and is interested in camping and RV's. My mom works in a company as well and likes to sing. I also have a brother who is currently a college student to become a teacher for art and geography. I wanna be teacher in my future as well. Warm Regards, Helene
