Dear Host Family ☺️, I hope you are doing well. First of all, I would like to thank you so much for giving me the chance to fulfill my dream of attending an American Highschool. Ever since I was little, I have dreamed of traveling to the USA to experience the life and culture there. I am 15 years old and live with my family in northern Germany near the coast. I grew up bilingual, speaking both German and Turkish fluently, since my family originally comes from Turkey. Every summer we enjoy spending time at the seaside in Turkey, where we have a small apartment. That’s why I am very convinced and know what it’s like to live in two different cultures and l am very sure that I am super adaptable and respectful. In general, I am a very positive and funny person and love to try and discover new things. As well, I am a very open minded and curious person, and love to travel. Together with my family,I have already visited several European countries, such as Italy, Austria, Spain, and the Netherlands. I also had the chance to travel further abroad, for example to the Maldives, where I was able to swim with many colorful fish. One of my biggest dreams has always been to spend Christmas in the United States. I love the sun and the beach, but I also really enjoy the snow and the cozy Christmas season, because I love baking cookies and going to the Christmas market with my friends. As well, I really love animals, especially dogs. I once had a small dog as well. I also enjoy spending time with younger children, as I often take care of my two little cousins. One of my favorite activities is also to cook food myself, and I would be very happy to introduce you to my favorite dish one day. I also love spending time with my family, whether it’s playing board games, going shopping, or a joint movie night. I really like to dance and play tennis. Especially dancing gives me great pleasure because I am a passionate Latin American dancer. I hope I could convince you with my qualities and would be very happy if you accept me🥰🍀.
