Dear Host Family, My name is Moritz, I’m in 8th grade and I come from Germany. I’m really excited about spending time with you and getting to know life in the United States! I’m a very active boy and I love doing sports. Basketball is one of my biggest passions — I usually go to basketball practice 3 to 4 times a week. I enjoy being part of a team, staying fit, and having fun on the court. In the winter, I also really enjoy skiing — I love being outside in nature and spending time in the snowy mountains. I’m also very open to new things and experiences. I like trying out new activities and learning about different ways of life. On a normal school day, I usually get home around 2 p.m., so I have time in the afternoon for sports or other hobbies. My father is a doctor, and my mother works as an air traffic controller. I have a younger brother who is 7 years old and a younger sister who is 6. I’m looking forward to go to school in America, to make new friends, and to improve my English.
