's Letter
Dear Host Family,
First of all, I would like to thank you for allowing me to take part in this unique experience and for welcoming me into your family.
My name is Margot. I am French, and I am in my last year of middle school. I live in a house with my parents, my brother, my dog, and my two cats.
I am a rather calm, open-minded, and easy-going teenager. I am hardworking, but I also like to have fun. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, doing theater, and playing sports such as running, swimming, and handball. I also love animals.
I have five close friends with whom I share many common interests. I am also very close to my family and enjoy spending time with them, especially on weekends and during vacations. I have a large family with many cousins and three grandparents.
At school, I achieve very good results, which allows me to have big ambitions, even though I don't have a precise idea of what I want to do in the future yet. Next year, I would like to take an international program that would allow me to take some courses in English. After high school, I am considering studying law or political science.
The reason I want to participate in this exchange program is that I know it will bring me so much. First, it will help me improve my English skills. Secondly, it is a great way to discover a new culture, which is always enriching. Finally, I love the idea of meeting new people and experiencing life in an American family.
Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to make my dream come true. I can't wait to meet you!
Best regards,
Margot
