Hello, my future Host Family!
I'm Meza, a 16-year-old student, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself to you! Right now, I live in a dormitory for high school, which has been a big change for me since I've always been close to my family. It's been an exciting experience too, living away from home has taught me to be more independent and responsible, skills I know will be useful during my stay with you. I come from a family who means the world to me. I'm the only son and the second grandchildren, so I've always helped my younger cousins and tried to be a good role model for them. Through this, I've learned the importance of patience, leadership, and setting a positive example. Our family lives in a city famous for its beautiful mosques and cultural diversity. There are many different ethnicities here, and I've grown up with a strong appreciation for diversity. From unique wedding ceremonies to cultural festivals, there's always something
fascinating happening, and I'm proud to call this city home.
When I'm with my family, we make the most of our time together. One of our favourite things to do is cooking together, experimenting with new recipes and
sharing lots of laughs along the way. We also enjoy going out to eat and visit new places, making each outing a mini adventure. I like to pitch in at home with my own responsibilities, like keeping my room tidy and studying. These tasks aren't just chores to me, they're a way to stay connected with my family and culture.
Becoming a doctor is one of my biggest dreams, and I'm especially passionate about science. I love learning how things work and how science can improve lives, and I think a career in medical world would allow me to make a meaningful impact to the world. My ambition drives me to work hard, and I'm determined to do whatever it takes to reach my goal. I hope these attitudes help me bring positive energy to your family too. I'd describe myself as an easy-going and open-minded person. I have a lot of friends at school, and we enjoy hanging out, watching movies, and exploring new places. I'm also a big fan of storytelling, it's one of my favorite ways to connect with others. Sharing stories helps me expressing myself and seeing the world from many different perspectives, which is probably why I love it so much. Storytelling also helps me in school, especially with subjects that require a lot of imagination. I often help my friend visualizing concepts or solving problems creatively, which brings us even closer.
Research is another passion of mine, especially in science. I love discovering new things, so research feels like an adventure to me. I've participated inschool research projects, including one on water management, which taught me about chemical interactions and the importance of clean water. I've also been part of a project on cancer prevention, where I learned about using natural ingredients to fight disease. I'm excited to continue exploring research during my time abroad and hope to bring back new insights that will help me in my studies and, eventually, my career as a doctor.
I'm also really looking forward to learning about your culture and sharing mine. I believe that living with a host family is the best way to truly experience a new way of life, and I'm eager to learn about your family's traditions, favorite foods, and local customs. I'd love to tell you about my country too, and maybe even cook some traditional dishes together! I think this cultural exchange will be one of the most memorable parts of my experience abroad. I enjoy staying active in my own way, though I'm not much of a sports player. I prefer activities like exploring nature, taking walks, or just discovering new places. I'm always open to new adventures and think trying different activities helps me grow as a person.
Thank you for considering me as a potential member of your family. I'm so excited to get to know you and be a part of your lives. I hope to bring a positive spirit, a willingness to learn, and an open heart into your home. This exchange program is a huge opportunity for me, not only to learn but also to create special memories and lifelong connections. I can't wait to meet you soon, and I'm looking forward to all the experiences we'll share together.
Warm regards,
Meza
