Dear American Family, Hello my future host family. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Before that, please allow me to introduce my self. My name is Maira and i am 16 years old. I live with my parents and two sibling. One brother and one sister. I am the last child of three siblings. My brother is the first child and he is already working. My sister is the second child, she is in college. And the last child is my self, now i am in high school. In our house, there were five people including me. And at home i would say we are a family that understand each other. In the morning, we will be busy with our respective activities. After that, everyone will go to their respective destinations. I personally will go to school. After that, in the afternoon I come home from school and rest for about 2 to 3 hours. In the afternoon towards evening I would wake up, and study for a while then take a shower. After I finished praying, We will have dinner together while chatting, this is our favorite activity at home. After finishing eating, I will wash the dishes and sweep a little. Oh, almost forgot, I will also wash dishes while listening to music. That is one of my interests. Actually, I have a lot of interests. Because I really like trying new things. Some of them are reading books, Watching the movie, and many other interests. About my friends, I have many friends. But this time I will tell you about my best friend. Her name is Maria. She is 15 years old. I like her because We have the same sense of humor. We often play together and exchange stories about many things. We really enjoy telling stories while eating together during breaks. I am myself when I am with her. My city, is famous for its beautiful ocean tourism. We can find many beautiful tourism in my city, most of which are beaches. Many people from outside the city come just to see the beach. That's why my city is very crowded during holidays. My plan in the short term is, to participate in more competitions and gain experience. In addition, competition certificates are also very useful for entering university. My long-term plan is to follow the Kl-yes program. Kl-yes is included in my long-term plan because it will support my career as a diplomat. Oh, I almost forgot, to my future host family. I just wanted to let you know that I can cook. I really want to cook you Indonesian food, like tahu walik, sweet martabak, meat martabak, and many other foods. And I really like dancing, I would be very happy if we could dance Indonesian dance together. I really want to get a lot of new experiences while there.
