Dear Host Family, I hope you are all doing well! I am incredibly excited about the chance to become part of your family and experience everyday life in your country. Thank you so much for opening your home and giving me the opportunity to take part in this adventure. Let me tell you a bit more about myself. I would describe myself as a friendly, open-minded, and curious person. I enjoy spending time with others, whether it’s with my family, friends, or new people I meet. At home, I like helping out wherever I can – doing chores, running small errands, or just being there when someone needs a hand or a good talk. I believe that mutual respect, kindness, and open communication are really important in any kind of relationship. In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies. I love being active and spending time outdoor - but not as much as I love fishing! I am a very good fisherman, enjoying being outside at the lake, wether it is with my friends or alone. I also like playing sports such as beach-volleyball, and I also enjoy going for walks or bike rides in nature. I also am a very good athlete, supporting gymnastics and having fun enjoying my hobbies. It helps me clear my mind and stay energized. When I’m indoors, I like listening to music, watching movies or series, and sometimes reading a good book. I also enjoy creative things like drawing or occasionally baking something sweet with my family. One of my favorite things to do is learn about new cultures, lifestyles, and traditions – which is one of the reasons why I’m so excited about this exchange year. I’m always curious to try out new things, and I would love to be part of your daily life. Whether that means helping around the house, joining family outings, cooking meals together, or just spending time talking in the evenings – I am really looking forward to becoming an active and respectful member of your household. I also understand the importance of adjusting to a new environment, and I will do my very best to adapt to your lifestyle, follow your house rules, and show appreciation for everything you do for me.
