My friends are well discipline, intelligent, lovers of education, very caring, jovial, and are very interesting to be with. We enjoy studying, having
fun, and walking together. My city (Tubmanburg) is a suburban city beautifully situated on the west coast of Liberia and is one of the oldest, funded in 1884. It is known for having a mountain, two beautiful lakes, valley, hills, and numbers of other natural resources.
My plans for the future are to provide myself more time and effort outlining plans for further studies to become more successful and to allow me to contribute to the development and advancement of society both nationally and internationally with focus on Liberia particularly. My plan is to study sociology and become a social worker. I will like my host family to get to know me more as I too get to know them more. Finally, after high school, I would love to pursue further education outside of Liberia so as to gain the necessary qualification that will allow me the opportunity to help my country and society extensively and effectively.
I am very optimistic that this journey is a promising one that with bridge boundaries and form new bonds that will aspire great relationship outside of the YES program. I am looking forward to meeting your family and exploring while also teaching you about my family and country in general.
