Dear Host Family, My name is Leonard, and I am very excited about the opportunity to become a part of your family and experience life in your country. I am from Germany and have always been curious about other cultures and ways of life. This exchange is a big step for me, and I’m looking forward to the adventure and everything I will learn from it. At home, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I like sports, especially rowing and basketbal, and I also enjoy listening to music and trying out new recipes. I’m an open-minded person, and I really enjoy meeting new people and learning from them. One of the main reasons I want to do this exchange is to improve my language skills and to get to know a new culture from the inside. I think the best way to understand a country is to live with a local family and take part in their daily life.
