Dear Host Family, Thank you for this wonderful opportunity, and being willing to include me in your family. My name is Amaya and I am in my sophomore year of high school here in Chile. I consider myself to be a caring and thoughtful person. I love traveling, camping and trying new things. I love animals, cooking, baking, singing, hanging out with family and friends, arts and crafts. I also like outdoor activities such as mountain biking, volleyball and walking. Some of my goals while I'm there is to see and learn about new places, cultures, traditions and families, in addition to meeting new people. I have a really close relationship with my parents.My dad is a co-owner of a metals company and also a bicycle shop. He enjoys riding his bike and spending time with family and friends. My mother was born in the USA and first came to Chile as an exchange student. She works as an administrator at a consulting business. She plays tennis and padel and loves walking the dogs.
