's Letter

Dear Host Family, I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Luís, and I am very excited for the opportunity to write to you. I know we are about to embark on a wonderful journey together, and I want to take this chance to introduce myself, share a little about who I am, and what I am hoping to experience during my time in the United States. I am a calm and easy-going person, and I am thrilled about the new opportunities that life has been presenting to me. I really like to dedicate myself to the things I love, and one of my greatest passions is soccer. I have been playing soccer since I was very young, and my dream is to become a professional soccer player one day. I do my best to work hard in every practice and game, always looking to improve. This goal of pursuing a career in soccer drives me to work hard every day, and I hope that when I arrive in the United States, I can continue to train and play in this sport I love so much. In addition to soccer, I have other hobbies that I really enjoy. I love playing basketball and American football, two sports that also fascinate me. I am a big fan of the NBA and NFL, and I always follow the games and championships. I think both basketball and American football have incredible dynamics, and I am motivated to learn more about them, not just by playing but also by watching the games and studying the strategies of the teams. One of my biggest goals in the United States is to attend a Division 1 college that plays in the NCAA. That would be a huge step in both my athletic and academic career. Additionally, I plan to study Business, as I have the dream of learning about the world of business and, perhaps, starting my own company in the future. I believe this experience in the United States will be a unique opportunity for me to grow both personally and professionally, and I am very excited to make the most of it. Despite all these dreams and goals, my family is, without a doubt, the most important part of my life. I am very close to them, and I always try to keep in touch, even when I am far away. They are my greatest support and motivation. I know that when I am in the United States, I will miss them, but I am also confident that this experience will be important for all of us. My family has taught me the value of respect, love, and dedication, and I hope to bring those same values to my relationship with you. In my free time, I enjoy playing video games and watching videos on YouTube. These activities help me relax and keep me updated on various topics. I also really enjoy meeting new people, learning about different cultures and languages. I believe that everyone has something unique to offer, and I am sure that this exchange will be one of the most enriching experiences of my life. I am a calm person, and with time, when I feel comfortable, I really enjoy talking and getting to know the people around me better. I believe that communication is key to building a good relationship, and I am fully open to learning from all of you. I also have a deep faith in God, and I believe that He guides me in all moments of my life, giving me strength to move forward. Finally, I want to sincerely thank you for taking the time to read my letter and for welcoming me into your home. I am very grateful for this opportunity, and I hope that as you get to know me better, you will see that I am a calm, dedicated, and respectful young man. I am really excited to be part of your family, and I look forward to sharing this amazing experience with you. I hope that, over time, we can create unforgettable memories and learn from each other. Thank you again for your trust and kindness, and I am certain this will be a journey of growth and learning for all of us. With much love, Luís
