's Letter
Dear Host Family,
My name is Gabriel and I am very excited about the opportunity to live this exchange experience in the United States. I want to learn about a new culture, improve my English and grow as a person.
I spent my entire childhood listening to stories from my father, my aunt and even my grandmother about the experience of being an Exchange student. They all also went on exchange to the USA when they were around 16 or 17 years old. It has become a tradition in the family to go on exchange to the USA.
It worked out really well for them and I believe that for me it will also be the start of a new phase in my life. I really want to be part of the host family's routine, participate in your daily lives, learn their customs and help out in any way I can. I really like children and pets, so I would be happy if you have children or pets.
In Brazil, I live with my parents and my sister and I have a good relationship with all of them. I really like playing soccer! I usually play almost every day, and I even went to a youth world championship in Spain. I also like listening to music, watching TV series, drawing and going out with my friends. At school, my favorite subjects are Math and sports.
During the week, I go to school in the morning. In the afternoon I do my homework and later in the day, as I said before, I play soccer and workout at the gym. On weekends, I like to spend time with my family, there is always barbecue at someone's house, and with my friends. I really enjoy going to the beach, playing board games at friends' houses and going out.
In the future, I want to be an administrator and I believe that the exchange will help me a lot to achieve this goal. I hope to create a good relationship with you, learn a lot and live unforgettable moments. Thank you.
With love,
Gabriel
