Dear Host Family,
I hope you are well, my name is Martin and I'm applying to do a High School Exchange, I am very excited about who is going to be my next parents. I want to share with you some things about me and to check if I am a good volunteer for you.
I am a very sociable person, who likes to make new friends and meet new people. I like singing, actually, when I am taking a shower, I always sing at the shower and i like to hear music all the time, i like al kind of music like: electronic music, reggeaton, reagge, pop, etc...
I love do sports like soccer, padel and basketball. I practice Mixed Martial Arts, is my biggest passion at the moment and I think is the best "sport"in the world, maybe i think i like so much because the people who train there are so sociable and they make me laugh all the time, so I have understood that sometimes it is not what you do, but who you do it with, you need a good environment to grow as a person. My favorite fighter is Marlon "Chito" Vera, he is from Ecuador so I support national talent.
I also like to watch TV, my favorite thing to watch is soccer matches, and if it is from FC BARCELONA is better because is my favorite soccer team. I also like watch NBA, my favorite team are the LA Lakers and the GS Warriors, I like too much Stephen Curry and Lebron James (also Luka Doncic) }
These sports teach me discipline, resilience, and the importance of constant improvement.
I am trying to be an entrepreneur, I have my own business but it is not a big one, I only buy some thins and then I sell it from an another price. I like the idea from make money, that's one of the biggest interests I have in the life.
I like too much playing videogames, maybe because I stay in touch with my friends and I can talk with them while im playing something, or maybe only for entertainment. At home, I am very responsible with my tasks, and I consider myself an organized person. I like to keep things in order and make sure everything is done properly.
For me, one of the most important things, is that if I fail at something, I must get up and try again, because if I fail in something, I have the responsibility of try it again, because it fails once doesn't mean it will always happen, and I always push myself to be better.
I hope to find a host family that shares some of my interests, I am so exciting about this opportunity. If you think I would be a good fit for your home, I would love to get to know you better!
Bye :),
Martin
