Md Labib
's Letter
Dear American Family,
At first take my love. I hope you all are well. I'm well too.
I'm Md Labib. I'm from Bangladesh . I'm almost 16 years old and currently studying in grade 10. My family consists of four members. I'm one of two siblings.I enjoy eating with my family , discussing daily lives, preparing meals together. Sometimes we travel together and explore new places. I have many responsibilities at home like taking care of my health, keeping my own thing organized and helping with daily household chores. I also have to complete my homework , spend quality time with my family
members and follow my family rules. I'm interested in singing and songwriting . I like to express my feelings in every lyrics that I write. I also love to sing. I have some fabulous friends who support me in my good decisions. We like to enjoy some quality times, going on a tour and doing some social activities. I live in an urban area where different cultures, religions and caste people live. Although we are different in culture, religion and caste, we live together like a family. In the future, I want to study psychology and help general people especially teenagers who are having mental problems. I want to help them to have a normal and happy life. I'll counsel in some rural areas for treating the depressed people. I want my host family to know that I'm very dedicated to what I do. I won the prestigious Global Discussion Student Award , 1st place in Asia, 2nd place in the 12-14 age group by participating in the Topical Talk Festival. This festival is organised by The Economist. Through the exchange experience I would like to gain knowledge about American culture, traditions and way of life. I want to know how teenagers lead their life, what they are taught in school. I hope this exchange program will make more confident. I wish I'll make some long-lasting friends from different cultures and make some wonderful memories.
No more today. Take care of your health.
