's Letter

Dear American Family, My name is Rameen. I am fifteen years old and I am second in sibling order. I am a student of 10th grade. I study in one of the well renowned schools in Pakistan. My entire education spans over the same schooling system across the country as my father was serving in Military. My father is a retired Army officer and my mother is a lecturer of Computer Sciences. I have two sisters. My elder sister is studying in 12th grade and my younger sister is studying in 7th grade. As a family, we love to spend time together at the dinner table. I along with my sisters usually go for swimming in summers. Besides, we also go for cycling together. At night, I and family go for a walk together. We also go for outing in Parks and purchase groceries together from Super Stores. Few of my responsibilities at home are making the bed, folding laundry, dusting the room, watering the plants and cooking simple meals. I have interest in swimming, horse riding, photography and cooking. I cook simple meals for my family on weekends. I have quite a few numbers of friends. We go out for cycling together, play badminton and hangout in Cafes. We also go for horse riding together in winters. We sometimes plan movie nights on weekends and during vacations. We also share academic notes and carryout group study at respective homes. My native city is an ancient city. It is famous for crops, fruits, embroidery and pottery. It has a lot of tourist places which are famous worldwide. I do have future career goals. I want to serve humanity on becoming an MBBS doctor. I want to get my medical degree and specialty from a well renowned medical school / university. I also want to contribute positively towards medical related research work for the overall benefit of mankind. I am an optimistic and enthusiastic person. I always strive to learn more. I am eager to travel the world and meet new people. I like to face challenges and feel excitement in testing my abilities and be the best version of myself. If I get an opportunity to be part of Exchange Program, I would like to gain following attributes from Exchange experience. This would broaden my mental horizon and enhance my creativeness. I will make new friends, meet people from different backgrounds and learn new experiences. I hope to contribute positively in American culture and would retain my own culture as well. I also want to experience the diverse culture of America where equal rights are given to females, hard work is respected, justice is served to all citizens and where people are mostly self-sufficient. I would also like to experience the technological advancements and interact with people who came from different continents of the world. This way, I would achieve education in global environment which would make me confident, independent and a better person. I am looking forward to be a member of your family and spend an unforgettable year making tons of memories. Rameen
