Dear Host Family, Thank you so much for giving me the chance to live with you during my exchange year. I’m really excited to come to the U.S. and experience a totally different culture. I hope we’ll have a great time together and learn a lot from each other. I would say I’m a friendly, curious, and open person. I love meeting new people and trying new things. I’m very open to everything and always happy to try something new—whether it’s food, activities, or new routines. I really enjoy creative things like acting or writing, and I hope I can join the drama club at school. Besides that, I also like to be active. I enjoy going climbing when I get the chance, and I’m always up for fun outdoor activities. Even though I also enjoy calm things like sewing or stitching sometimes, I like a good mix of movement and creativity in my life. During the exchange year, I hope to learn more about everyday life in the U.S., your traditions, and what school is like there. I’m especially excited to experience holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving, they seem so fun! I’m really looking forward to meeting you and becoming part of your life for a while.
