Dear Host Family, First of all thank you for welcoming exchange students! I‘m already so excited for my exchange year experience and can’t wait to meet you! I would describe myself as very open minded and humorous because for example, always no matter when I'm going out, get to know new people because I'm very social. My friends always make fun of me because if they go out by themselves nobody random tries to talk to them, but with me every time. I am also very curious , I especially like learning random facts that nobody knows and of course generally trying new things and exploring many different places. My favorite place in the world is the beach. I just love swimming in the ocean and walking on the sand in the sun, it makes life soo peaceful. One of the biggest reasons why I chose the US for my exchange year is a personal reason. I want to know whether the typical American high school cliche is true or not. One of my favorite movies- 10things i hate about you and mean girls made me question that daily so now I want to find out myself! Like i already mentioned , I truly enjoy meeting new people and i am a very good listener and talker. So be prepared for me asking a lot of questions about your lifes! I have a sister, who is about 4 years older than me but everyone says that we look and act like twins. I can’t imagine growing up without a sibling! In school i have always enjoyed the subject English, i just like learning new languages (also Russian, Spanish and Hebrew). I have kind of a watching addiction of the series „ modern family“. My biggest fears are big insects especially spiders, me doing cartwheels and also horror movies. I love having days in my everyday life when i can just chill but i also love having some active days with many activities. On jewish holidays, I like going to the synagogue, because it makes me feel more connected to my faith again. Overall I am very excited to see whether my typical „american highschool“ thesis is true and to meet all of you of course.
