's Letter

Dear Host Family, Thank you so much for being willing to participate in the exchange program and accepting me to live with your family. I am a French girl and I like to try new things and i already traveled all over the world with my parents. I was born in Guadeloupe and I went to the USA during vacation, when I was little. I came back to France when i was two. When i was six,I traveled during two years with my family. We went to Guadeloupe again, then in New Caledonia, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Sri Lanka, Vanuatu and Fiji Islands. I lived one year in Tahiti for my 8th Grade. I really enjoyed this beautiful place and the culture. I learned Tahitian dance and diving. We also move during vacation : to Scotland, to Spain, to Italy, to Canada (Saint Pierre and Miquelon), in France too, for surfing... This summer, I spent 3 weeks without my parents in the USA, at my grandma's friend's. I really loved the American way of life and the beautiful sceneries. I went to New York. It's an incredible city ! I loved doing some shopping there ! I'm looking forward to learning more about the culture and the American language. I'd love to become fluent! I love reading books and being with horses. I am a very outgoing, motivated, helpful, responsible, hard-working, cultivated, easy going. I enjoy sport like running, fitness and ski. In high school, I wish I could join the cheerleading team or the country club. My dad is a doctor, he works in the emergency room. He loves traveling. He is very sporty. He often leaves abroad for his work. My mum is a doctor too but in another service. She is learning Chinese medicine. She really enjoys traveling too, and she is fond of being outside. she is also very sporty. My first sister is two years younger than me. My second sister is 4 years younger than me. We are a close family and I hope to become a part of your family as well. I think french culture is a lot about literature, historical monument and food ! I enjoy visiting beautiful cities with castle or great cathedrals. I wish one day you will visit me and my family in France ! I will be able to share my culture with you ! When I saw the wonderful pictures of my Ayusa sisters and brothers, it made me more determined to go to America and learn about your culture. I believe that I can also take amazing photos and have unforgettable memories with you and my new friends in America. I am excited to become a part of your family! Warm Regards, Manon
