Dear future host family, my name is Lara and I am so excited to have the opportunity to be with your family and to live one year abroad. Thank you for having me! I would describe myself as a really positive and friendly person who loves to learn and explore. The USA has always fascinated me, and I am thrilled to have the chance to live there and learn about the culture. In my free time, I mostly enjoy dancing. I do Ballett three times a week and it brings me a lot of joy. I am also in a HipHop Dance Team two teams a week, with whom I also take part in competitions. I love spending time with my friends as well. My friends and family describe me as a fun, sensitive and caring person who is always open to new things. Besides English, I am also learning a little bit of French. During my exchange year, I hope to improve my language learning skills and to widen my horizon. I live with my family, including my parents and my big sister Milena who has already been an exchange student in the US. My mom is a teacher at a primary school. In her leisure time, she loves to read and to cook. My dad works with commercials for a TV channel. He is really interested in sports, especially soccer. My sister Milena is graduating next year and is hoping to travel even more afterwards. We are a really close family and I would love to become a part of your family too. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and I believe that living in a host family will provide me with a unique, enriching experience.
