Dear host family, Thank you so much for participating in the exchange program and accepting me to live with your family. I'm Doortje from the Netherlands and I'm really exited to go and visit your country. Last summerbreak I went on vacation to the USA with my family. I really enjoyed it and we've had a great experience. The people were very nice and the landscapes were very different from the ones we have in the Netherlands and were really beautiful. That 's the reason why I chose to go on this exchange. First I will tell something about myself. I love movies, acting and travelling. I'm a very social, creative, caring, studious and loving person. I enjoy swimming as a competative sport and in my free time I love to act, watch movies, make movies, learn new things and make animations. I speak 3 languages; Dutch, English and a little French. I really hope I can make my English fluent. I really love acting. I have been in musical classes and theater lessons for 10 years now and I play in some Dutch TV shows. My dream is to become an actress. I also really like to make my own movies and create them. I hope that I can pursue that dream further in America and maybe join some school clubs. I live togheter with my mom, dad and little brother. My mom is a remedial teacher and my dad is a counseler for tech companies. We also have pets, 2 cats, 1 duck and 2 chicken. My family is really close and I hope to create a bond like that with you too. I hope that I can take amazing photos and have unforgettable memories with you and my new friends in America.
