Hello! I'm excited to share some things about myself. I am a Brazilian boy, I'm 16 years old and I am currently studying in the 11th grade. I enjoy music, traveling, practicing sports, working out, outdoor activities, nature, and I love animals. When I'm at home, I like playing video games like Valorant, Need for Speed, and Fall Guys. I can learn new things quickly and I'm greatly interested in watching movies and animes. A fun fact about me is that I've practiced several sports like volleyball, beach tennis, handball, soccer, swimming, basketball and riding a bike and rollerblades, but the sport I fell in love with and currently practice is tennis. Thinking about my host family, I hope to bond over shared interests like cooking and exploring new places like stores, some parks and other towns. I'm looking forward trying some traditional American dishes with them and maybe even participating in some family traditions. When it comes to experiencing American culture, I'm particularly interested in delving deeper into everyday life, including studying, leisure activities, developing new hobbies, trying new foods and flavors, making friends, attending concerts, music festivals, movies, sports events, and exploring the entire city where I'll be living. My main goal while on the program is to improve my English skills, especially speaking, becoming more confident in conversations. I believe this experience will not only help me academically but also personally as I navigate new friendships and relationships. Studying high school in the United States is part of my future plans because I believe it will provide me with valuable opportunities and experiences for my whole life. I see many possibilities to work and to establish connections with people in the United States. I come from a close-knit family, with loving parents and two dogs. I also have reliable friends. Living in a gated community allows me to socialize with friends outdoors. I'm genuinely excited about the prospect of becoming a part of your family and experiencing everything America has to offer.
