Dear American family, Hi I am Qasim I am safe and sound and hope you will be sailing in the same boat. I live in a small village with my family. We are seven family members including my parents, grandmother and three sisters. My father is a farmer, he cultivates his own land. He grows maize, rice and potatoes usually I help my father in farming after my school time. As I am the only brother of my sisters. I help them in studies and at our leisure time I play different games with my sisters and parents. Playing together is the most precious time for me. At home I am responsible for different tasks like I have to fetch water from water filtration plant, to bring groceries from the market and to take care of guests and my grandmother. Here I would like to mention my interest and future plans. I am very fond of using computers and information technology. I like to be a computer professional. In future I want to be an expert in cybersecurity. I am social but I have small circle of friends and have six friends and good cousins we always get along with one another. We enjoy games and picnic parties on weekends and during holidays my friends are also students. My city is a small and historical place and is known as food basket of Pakistan. People here are friendly and hard workers. Most of them are farmers. There are many schools, banks and parks in my city. My city is famous for potato and maize export period now I would like to inform you that I want to be a cybersecurity engineer in future. Because I am very passionate about computers technology and hopefully select it as my career. I like to let you know that I am very simple and open minded. I like to represent my culture and traditions. Moreover I always help others and live like a peaceful gentleman. In addition I am very humble and flexible and humble person. I don't like smoking, alcohol and drugs. My favorite dish is biryani. I am an early riser and like to take some exercise daily. I am very keen on cleanliness. I always like to wear clean clothes and like to clean my surroundings. I can easily adjust myself with others at different environment and in all kind of circumstances. At the end, I would like to say with this cultural exchange program I believe I will get some wonderful experiences. For instance, how the Americans family live in their family system and how they raise their children's? I would like to learn American culture and traditions in range of diversity. I believe it will be a great experience for me to observe the American educational system. And of course the cutting edge technology will one of the desired learning subject. Furthermore, I will also like to gain the knowledge how Americans people feel about my country and our culture. The most important part of my participation in this program I am also much passionate to introduce my own culture and traditions to them practically. And our positive thoughts about Americans friend.
