Hello My name is Faustine and I'm from France. First of all, I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read my letter. Living in the United States has always been a dream for me: discovering new landscapes in the 4 corners of the country, the people there, the madness of the big cities, for me, the United States is like a dream. I had the opportunity to go to Los Angeles and Las Vegas during the summer of 2022, a trip that left me wanting nothing more than to go back. Going to study there really makes me want to because the American school system is so different from the one in France. I'll be able to have time to try new things like joining a club or trying out a new sport. Living with an American family would give me a complete impression of the American lifestyle, discover new everyday habits and meet new people. I have no allergies or special diet, I eat everything and love to discover new recipes. I also have lots of pets so I have no problems with them. In life I am smiling, I know how to adapt quickly, I am also very enthusiastic and can easily be very happy for small things but I can also be shy at the beginning of the relationship but very quickly comfortable. With my family and friends I'm funny, a good listener but also very talkative. And at school I'm hard-working, but more in the subjects I appreciate like English, math and economics. Since the age of 7, catamaran sailing and windsurfing have been my greatest passions. Every Saturday morning I meet up with my sailing friends, whom I've known since I started. The rest of the time I like to go out for a walk to watch the sunset, read, listen to music, go to my brother's basketball games and spend time with my family and friends. When my friends and I get together, we love to go for walks and talk about anything and everything, and we like to take photos of each other. Since September 2022 I've been at boarding school, where I've met lots of new friends. I chose to go because I wanted to discover new experiences and be able to work hard to have a good record for this project, so I took biology and history classes in English to improve my English. Later on I'd like to become a flight attendant, as traveling is one of my great passions. I love flying and the atmosphere is always very pleasant, or maybe being a sailing instructor. To be able to teach my passion to others fills me, seeing other people improve and perform thanks to something I've taught them fills me with joy.
