Dear host family, My name is Romane and I am 15 years old. Before I lived near the capital, Paris, but I moved when I was 11 years old. Now, I live on the Atlantic coast. In the town, there are The Shell Museum, it's a small museum and a museum of vintage cars. It is the city where I go to school in the second grade. In school, my favorite subjects are English, Sports and Economic and Social Sciences. I don't like Physics and Chemistry as much. My friends see me as an open-minded, serious, determinated and a funny girl. I pretty much agree with that, I think it suits me pretty well. My friends are very important for me , I only have six real friends. We see each other and call each other regularly I work every evening after class approximately 30 minutes up to one hour. On weekends I work a little more because we have homework to do and books to read. My family is also very important, my father's name is Antonny and my mother's name is Elodie. My parents are very often there for me, we go on holiday together very often, in winter to ski and in summer to discover new landscapes. I love travel ! I have an older brother, his name is Lubin, and he is 18 years old. He is preparing for an exam to become a truck driver. We get along well, even if we sometimes argue. During the weekend, me and my family play board games or go for a walk during the day. We sometimes have a picnic on the beach in the summer. At home, We also play ping pong and we play in our pool. Sometimes, I going out with my friends to the cinema or to the stores. I really enjoy chatting with them. We're going to see dance shows or basketball games. I am a caring and open-minded girl, I am a good listener and smiling. I chose this country because since my youngest age it's a big dream and a goal for me to live in the United States and to discover your culture and your traditions. I really want to become more independent and really integrate into a new life, meet new people and then discover myself. I would also like to improve my English. Later, I'd like to travel, and discover a lot of cultures. I'm a bit shy but I speak very easily. This experience will be enriching for me. I love cinema and listening to music, it's something that inspires me. I admire American cinema and I love the Marvels. I love arts and history museums, It's really interesting and very beautiful ! My parents and I regularly go to Paris to visit museums. Last month we visited the Natural History Museum, the Grevin Museum and the Eiffel Tower. I take piano lessons. It's an instrument that I really like. In the family, my father plays guitar and my mother plays flute. I can't wait to live this adventure, to meet you, to discover your country.
