Dear Host Family, Thank you for allowing me to take a part in your daily life. My name is Martha and I can´t wait to join your family in America in a few Months. I'm a high school student who loves to draw, listen to music and challenge myself to try new things. I consider myself as an outgoing, creative, caring, animal loving and also a fun-loving person. Furthermore, I often meet with friends on weekends and we go on walks, watch movies together, try out new things like Painting ceramic cups or go shopping in the city. Additionally, I love spending time with my family, whether it's going for walks with our dog, cuddling with my cat, playing board games or just enjoying each other's company, family time is always important to me. Speaking of family, my dad is a car painter who loves to spend his free time working in our garden. My mum is employed at a technology company. She is creative and loves to draw with watercolors, decorate the house for upcoming holidays or try out new bread recipes. Furthermore, she enjoys spending her time in the garden, going for walks and taking pictures. I'm eager to attend a year abroad in America because I'm fascinated by the different cultures, traditions and the daily routines of families like yours. I'm excited to experience American school life and bond with new people. Connecting with them is something I enjoy, and I'm interested in working with people in the future. Besides that I would be thrilled to explore more of the local area and visit some of your favorite sights. I´m motivated to include myself in your community and learn more about what makes it special. Apart from this, I would be happy if I could show you some of our traditions like baking gingerbread or making a Christmas wreath for Christmas as well as sharing my favorite recipes with you.
