Dear Host Family, Thank you very much for accepting to participate in these exchange programs and allowing me to be part of your family! I’m a french girl and I’m in the equivalent of the 10th grade in the USA. I’m a funny, artistic, creative, loving, motivated and very open-minded person and I always like to discover new things and activities. I’ll be very happy to learn a new culture in America with you ! I love fashion and clothes, especially designers clothes that can be seen in fashion shows. I like going out with my friends, reading, animals like dogs, makeup, flowers, listening to music, watching series, dancing, painting, drawing and art in general. I enjoy playing sports, such as Rythmic gymnastic, volleyball… I speak french and i’m doing well in English I guess but I want to improve my level even more to become fluent and bilingual. I’ve been doing rythmic gymnastic in competition for 8 years and I really like it. I also play violon in the orchestra of my school. I’ve been a scout for a very long time and my whole family is too. I would love to be on the high school sport team (like volleyball or other) team or be a part of the cheerleaders team (it’s like my little girl’s dream haha). My dad is a business manager in IT and he likes ski, rugby and scouts. My mother works in a large company in catering and services and more particularly for the fight against food waste. She loves dogs, nature, board games and spending time with her family. I have a younger sister and a younger brother : Sophie and Julien. We are a very close family and we like to spend time together so I hope to have a lot of good time with your family too ! At home, I share my bedroom with my little sister and we live in an apartment. I take the metro to go to my school. Twice a week, I have my rythmic gymnastic classes and once a week I do violin at the orchestra. Sometimes, I go out to spend time with my friends, I go shopping, go to the cinema… My family likes to watch rugby games, visit museums, go out for walks and play games together. I love cooking cookies and I really like cinnamon rolls and pancakes. I’m not really sure what I want to do in the future but I would really like to work in the field of fashion, in luxury marketing. I want to discover your way of life, your country, your culture and your habits ! I chose America because I’ve always dreamed to live and go there. I really like this country thanks to its culture and educational system. I really like the way that sports are really an integral part of educational and that it’s used for higher education to have a scholarship for example. I hope we’ll be like a real family and I can’t wait to see you ! I’d like to discover my new life with all of you and I can’t wait to be part of your family.
