Dear Host Family, My name is Jade, I was born in 2008. My parents are called Nicolas and Audrey, all three of us live in Normandy. With my parents we have very different schedules so we make sure to eat together every evening, we spend the day together on Sundays and we try to organize outings as soon as possible. We get along very well and we spend our time laughing when we are together. I am also close to my grandmother, we see each other regularly and we organize outings when we can. At school I'm quite a good student, I'm with my girlfriends all day and we all eat lunch together, it's a moment that I love, we all discuss our lives together. When I get home I do the homework I'm given. I love to listen to music, I listen to it very very often. I like to read a lot, I find it important because it makes us work the imagination. I spend time talking with my girlfriends, especially my best friend Tess, we are very close, we regularly organize outings to enjoy both of them and I like spending time with her, it's very precious moments for me. I love thrills, thrill rides, paragliding, bungee jumping... I love the feeling it gives me and the adrenaline. I am solar and funny, very optimistic I see the good side of everything. I listen to the people around me and I don't appreciate conflicts and arguments. I am rather sociable and I like to meet new people and take the time to live and enjoy with the people I love. I talk a lot about everything and nothing and I love listening to people tell me about themselves and everything they have experienced. I like the piano, art, plays, dance, modeling and I watch many competitions on TV with my girlfriends or football matches with my dad. I have the chance to travel a lot so I love discovering new countries and new cultures. It is also for this reason that I dream of going to the USA, I wanted to do an exchange year to improve my level of English because I want to become an international lawyer, I would also like to practice in UNITED STATES. So what better way to learn the language than to go there for 1 year in total immersion. It is also an opportunity for me to discover this country and its inhabitants by integrating daily life and to forge links with you I would love to be close to my host family and to share moments of life it is very important For me. It is an extreme chance for me to be able to participate in an exchange program and I am very grateful for it, it is a dream come true. I hope to be able to pass on to you the customs of my country, and teach you things about France. I hope you enjoy meeting me as much as I do.
