Dear host family, First of all, I would like to thank to you for your hospitality. It's a real pleasure to introduce myself hoping I can join you soon so that my American dream comes true. My name is Lisa, I live in France, near the sea with my parents and my little brother. My mother is a lawyer and my father is an agency director in the construction industry. I have a little brother, Romain (13 years old). I'm very close to my family and they support me in all my projects. I'm very grateful to them. I am a kind, funny, curious and caring person. I'm always positive ! I enjoy spending time with my friends, playing sports and going to the beach with them and I like meeting new people whenever I can. At school, I'm a studious student who participates a lot. I'm passionate about English and literature. I love to study English because it's a beautiful language that's spoken all over the world. Later, I'd like to become a journalist who travels a lot so English is very important for me. In my daily life, I like listening to music, playing with my little brother, reading, running and cooking ! I love to do sport, particularly athletics at my club. I've been doing it for 4 years and my speciality is sprinting. Training sessions are the moments I look forward to most. It’s making me happy every time ! I also like dancing and singing for fun. I love animals and looking after them. At home, we have a rabbit called 'Panpan', a cat called 'Nala' and a lovely pony called 'Fauxy. During the holidays, I like to do activities with my family and friends. This summer I visited Paris and its beautiful monuments. I really enjoyed the trip and have some wonderful memories of it. I regularly go to a pretty commune only 40 minutes where I live. This commune is by the sea so I like swimming and walking along coastal paths. It's a wonderful and peaceful place where my family and I love spending time together ! I would like to live this school year in the USA because it is actually my dreams’ country. I've been dreaming of going there since I was a little girl. I would also love to discover a new country, a new culture and a new way of life with your family and at your local High school. Most of all, I would like to meet new persons and make a lot of American friends ! Getting out of this human experience abroad with unforgettable memories and improving my english will also be some real assets for my future. Each day, I’m longing for this adventure. I’m also looking forward to bringing you the best of me. I hope we can meet each other soon.
