Hey my future Host-Family, my name is Julia and I`m from Germany. First, I would like to give you a short introduction of myself. I like to do lots of sports, my favorite is swimming which is why I do synchronized swimming as a hobby. In my free time I love to meet my friends and sometimes I go to the animal shelter to help out and take care of the pets. I do have a cat and three guinea pigs myself, that´s because I love to work with animals. I also have a job at Subway. It`s really fun to work with my co-workers and have nice people around me. My best friend´s name is Nuria. We became best friends in kindergarten, so we´ve known each other for over ten years now. Since she only lives one street away from me, we spend a lot of time together and do a lot of fun things like going shopping or having girl nights with watching movies with sheet masks on and eating self-made dinner. In general, my friends would describe me as really funny and kind. They make a normal school day so much better, and I love having them around. I also spend a lot of time with my two older siblings. I really enjoy chilling out with my brother or doing things with my sister, whether it´s driving around in her car and singing along to our favorite music or just hanging out in my room and talking. I want to go to America because I would like to get to know the country better. The English language really amazes me, which is why I want to improve my English skills even further. I want to gain new experiences and I´m very much looking forward to meeting new people and getting to know them. I love seeing new places of the world and learning about other cultures, so I´m really happy to get the chance to spend almost a full year in the US.
