Dear Host Family,
First, I would like to thank you for being willing to let me live with you and for participating of the exchange program.
I am from Brazil. Since I was a kid, I have ever been looking forward to study in America in High School. It is, in fact, a dream coming true. I have just finished my sophomore year and I would like to live with a host family, sharing their habits and living the American culture.
I am really into reading books, traveling, having road trips, getting to know new places and I like to spend quality time with my family. I am very organized, clean, kind, generous and fun-loving. I speak Portuguese and English fluently, but I want to improve my second language, which is English, even more.
I have played volleyball for a year and a half and it is something that I love doing, so I would like to join the school team in America, but I understand if it is not possible. About my family, we are always togheter doing whatever it is. My dad is an Agriculture Officer, he likes to listen to music in his free time. My mom is an Investor, she is into travelling, and she loves to know new places just like I do. My brother is older than me, and he is following my dad steps, since he is studying Agriculture in college. I hope I can be able to be part of your family soon.
Here in Brazil we are used to celebrate some holidays that Americans don't, so I am expecting to share what we do, our musics and our habits. Just as I said, I have been looking forward to do an exchange program since I was a kid, and now it is the moment to do it and improve my English, and learn about your culture. I am sure I will make memories that I will never forget.
Warm regards,
Bruno.
