Dear Host Family, First of all let me thank you from the bottom of my heart for participating in this program and welcoming me to your home! My name is Louis Antoine. I’m a French boy, sociable, easy going, relax, helpful, understanding, generous, polite, cheerful, dynamic, hard-working and rigorous… I have been thinking about travelling to the U.S.A for many months and the best way I found to do this is to spend a whole year studying in a high school, staying at your place, and sharing your life. Living with you every day would make me so happy! This would allow me to get to know better the American way of life, your traditions, your culture… I’d love to be able to build strong ties with you and make American friends! I’m passionate about horseback riding and I’ve been practicing this sport for four years. I love animals and I have a dog called Lewis. I would love to continue horse riding but if it is not possible I’m also very interested in joining the school’s basketball or football club! I played rugby for three years. Now I no longer play this sport but I love go to the stadium to watch games with my dad. I will be so delighted to go to see football matches with you! At home, I’m responsible for some household chores. I love preparing meals, making deserts especially! I would be delighted to introduce you to traditional dishes from France. For me, family times are very important. I go every year on vacation with my cousins in the south of France. It’s a tradition in my family. Together, we share incredible memories! I hope we can also share unforgettable moments together! I will be so happy to share with your family, your friends and you a barbecue for example.
