Dear host family, First of all, I would like to thank you very much for letting me be part of your family, I am super excited to meet you in person. My name is Sofia, I live in the north of Brazil. I'm in the 2nd year of high school here, 11th grade/Junior year in the US. I want to improve my English, but mainly to get to know a new culture, new people, have new experiences and discoveries. I'm an outgoing and very excited person, I have frequently laugh crises and I can't stop laughing, I think it's horrible because in serious situations it's embarrassing. I consider myself an artistic person and I am open to new experiences. I have a spirit of leadership and practical, I like to do things quickly and in my way. I like sports in general, but I've been playing volleyball and swimming here. I'm going to the gym to exercise and I have a healthy lifestyle. I love singing and dancing, I don't sing very well, but I still love it. I like to go out with friends, walk a lot, I like to make desserts, I love walking outdoors and breathing fresh air, I like to listen to music and watch movies, I like to read too, romance books, fantasy, suspense, I love board games, cards and videogames. My favorite subject is Math, I like almost all subjects, but I identify more with numbers. I have an older brother who moved to another city, where he attends college. At first it was difficult to be without him, but over time I got used to it. I live with my father, my mother and my dog Katy. I'm going to make Brazilian desserts for you to try, I'm very excited! I can't wait to meet you and make new friends. I would like to join a volleyball team or practice another sport, but if not possible, I'm ok about it. See you soon!
