Dear host family, First of all, I would like to thank you for taking me in and giving me a huge opportunity to get to know the USA. I am very open-minded and interested in culture and meeting new people. In my free time I do a lot of sports like going to the gym and rowing. In the last few years I have tried a lot of sports like handball, judo or tennis. Whenever possible I do sports with my friends because it is much more fun to do sports with other people. Sport also defines my personality. I am ambitious in things that really interest me. I want to continue my passion for sports in the USA, for example in one of the many sports clubs at school. My sister is 1.5 years older and also participated in an exchange programm. We have a strong relationship and  spend a lot of time together. My father works for the military. My mother is a social worker and helps children in school who are unable to work on their own.  As a family we are also open-minded and have travelled a lot to other countries. I would love to discover the American culture and country with you as my host family! When I finished school, my plan is to apply for the military.
