Tengis
's Letter
Dear Host Family,
Thank you so much for being willing to participate in the exchange program and accepting me to live with your family.
Through this letter, I am introducing myself to my future host family in the USA. I am Tengis and you can call me Dennis or Ted. I will be entering junior year in this academic year.
To describe my personality, I would say I am open-minded and an explorer who likes to go on adventures and meet new people. So, I am very excited to participate in the High School Student Exchange Program where I will live and study in one of the most influential countries for a year and make new friends.
I have so many hobbies, one of them being basketball and riding a bicycle. These days, I am deeply interested in Sur-Ron, which is an electronic motorcycle.
At home, I live with my parents, older sister, and two adorable younger siblings. Growing up in a huge family taught me how to care for and share with others. Since I am the oldest son, I know responsibility from a young age, and also my parents’ support and love towards me helped me become a confident person.
Lastly, I also know the year will be challenging considering my English skills and adaptation to a new environment but I am sure to overcome it to build the best version of me. For my host family, I will have respect for you like how I do for my parents, and already am grateful for helping me achieve my dream. I am excited to become a part of your family!
Warmly,
Tengis
