Dear Host Family,
Thank you so much for being willing to participate in the exchange program and accepting me to live with your family. I finished my first year of high school last year and this year I am entering my second. I like to try new things and I want to explore the world, including America. I want to learn about the American culture and share in your life. I love running, going to the gym, watching movies and series, listening to music and reading. I can speak Portuguese and an average level of English, one of my objectives for this exchange is to improve my English. In my country I participate in several volunteer activities and I would like to maintain this habit when I go on exchange. I love helping other people, especially children, especially since I have two younger sisters. I played tennis for a few years when I was younger, but when the pandemic started I had to stop and I haven't played since. gym and running, I'm not a professional at running and I run more as a hobby. My parents are divorced and nowadays my father is married, the two of them (my father and mother) have a company. I live with my father, my stepmother and my younger sisters, one aged 5 and the other aged 2. Until I was 10 years old I lived with my mother and my older brother, who is 19 years old. I think Brazilian culture is very rich, we have delicious food, famous all over the world, different festivals and parties, beautiful beaches, great restaurants and beautiful tourist spots. I would like to share a little of my culture with your family.
I am determined to go to America and learn about its culture. I believe that I can also have unforgettable memories with you and my new friends in America. I am excited to become part of your family!
Warm Rules,
Paula
