's Letter
Dear American family,
My name is Amina. My family comprises 5 people (including me). I am the youngest in my family. My father is a businessman, my mother is a working woman, working in a government institute. I have two siblings; one brother (2 years older than me), and one sister (she is the eldest sibling). We enjoy spending quality time together. I and my mother usually enjoy doing home decor. I, and my sister like to paint together and discuss our favorite books and novels. My brother do sports with me, like cycling, cricket etc. I love talking and discussing about the political and current situation of the country with my father. My responsibilities include; ironing my clothes, helping my mother in our house chores, making tea (twice a day), fetching water, cooking (occassionally) and sweeping once a week. I have a keen interest in painting, photography, cycling, making calligraphy’s, learning new skills, sports such as cricket, badminton, running etc. I have a good (decent) friend circle, which includes a lot of friends. Precisely, I have a lot of good friends who are very humble, kind, helping, caring, courageous, focused, determined. I have friends at school (mostly) and also in my family and neighburhood. Moreover, I have also made a lot new friends in different schools during various inter-school activities. I like to spend my time in sports, arts, discussions about books, etc, with my friends. I live in a very beautiful city, which is also one of the very important tourist’s visiting cities of the country. It has a cool climate, and is called a ‘city of Pines and chinars’ due to having a lot of trees and sceanic views. Moreover, literacy rate in my city is hundred per cent. I want to persue a medical career, serving as a neural oncologist. Also, I am a practicing Muslim, who cares about her religious prayers and commitments sacredly. I have a good adaptive nature. Through this opportunity, provided by the exchange program, I would like to show my cultural, (and its) diversity, to the American citizenship and, to, know about your culture. Living in a new environment will provide me a chance to communicate and understand new people, and I would surely want to use this opportunity. Furthermore, through this program I would like to take full advantage of studing in a good highschool in America, which will help me in my future medical career.
Hope you will be in a good health,
See you soon!
Amina
