's Letter
Dear future host family,
In a first part I would like to tell you how much this exchange year means to me. I first learn about the exchange year four years ago and I was immediately amazed by this experience. To discover a completely different culture and life in a completely different country. The possibility to meet new people and to learn another way to live. This exchange year appeared to be a perfect way to make myself an unforgettable life experience that I will learn a lot from, open my mind and give me maturity, to be able to get into college life the best way possible, knowing the world and myself better. And thanking you so much for making this dream come true, you are an essential part of it.
Now, let me introduce myself to you. My name is Lilly-Rose. I am the youngest child of my family, I have one older sister: Marie, and two older brothers: Ophélien and Arsene. I am a cheerful, curious, friendly girl who loves to discover new things ! I am sporty, I play volleyball, I ski downhill and I go horseback-riding. I also really like art in every way: painting, drawing, writing and other manual activities. I read a lot I really liked "And both die at the end" by Adam Silvera or "The alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. I babysit, I really love kids. I also love pets so much I've got a cat: Carapuce and a dog: Lucky.
This year is my first high school year, even if I find it a little bit difficult sometimes, I love to go to school because I enjoy learning in class and seeing my friends. In France we study from 8am to 4pm and I choose to apply to an English option on Saturdays. I can't wait to see how it goes in an American high school.
I am so excited to get to know you and finally meet all the family members. I' m sure that we are going to get along very well.
Thank you for reading my letter.
