Dear future family, Hello, let me introduce myself. I'm Nell, a teenage French girl. I've decided to participate in the High School program to explore the culture of the United States, a country that has always captured my attention since my early years. My sister was a au pair in the U.S., providing me with the opportunity to visit the country on several occasions. I was enchanted by its rich culture, diverse landscapes, and, most importantly, the warm hospitality of Americans. Joining this program will allow me to immerse myself in the life of an American high school student, a dream I've cherished since the age of 7. My goal in going to the U.S. is also to enhance my English skills, a crucial requirement for admission to the University of Paris, where I plan to specialize in international commerce. My personality is characterized by a cheerful disposition, closeness to my family, loyalty in friendship, a knack for making people laugh, as well as a sense of responsibility and independence. I have various passions, ranging from reading novels, comics, and manga to a deep affection for music. I've been fortunate to attend a concert by one of my favorite artists, The Weeknd, and I've already planned to attend the concerts of Taylor Swift and Coldplay in June with my sisters. Travel holds a central place in my life. I've explored numerous places in France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Sweden, the U.S., Cape Verde, and recently in England. Besides my passion for football and unwavering support for PSG, I also play handball and take pride in our team's second-place finish in the regional competition. I share a common passion for rugby matches with my father since childhood, and I also enjoy dancing and skiing, activities I engage in several times a year. Surrounded by a wide circle of friends, my best friend Lisa has been a part of my life for five years. With my friends, I enjoy outings, beach days, shopping sprees, and various activities. Coming from a large family, I actively contribute to household chores by doing the dishes, managing my laundry, and assisting in meal preparation. I cherish family moments, whether it's during hikes, travels with explorations like Angel's Landing in Zion Canyon last summer, or regular outings to the movies and restaurants.
