Dear host family, Thank you very much for agreeing to take part in the exchange program and for welcoming me into your family. I'm a young French girl and I've just finished my seconde class. I like trying new things and want to explore the world, especially America. I'm taking part in this exchange so that I can learn more about American culture, become as independent as possible in English, make new friends and above all discover a new school system. I'd like to live the American dream, as many exchange students say, and so be able to choose the school subjects I like or even be part of a high school sports team, like cheerleading. I love sport; I've been ice skating since I was 5 and synchronized skating for 2 years at a high level. I'm part of the French team! I'm very independent, creative and sociable. What's more, I have the opportunity to volunteer in my sports club with the members and I love it! It makes me happy to help others. My father works on the roads, he's a project manager. My mother is a chartered accountant. My older sister is two years older than me, and my twin brother is in her final year of high school. We're a close-knit family, and I hope to be part of your family too.
