Dear Host Family,
I am a French girl and I study French, maths, Spanish, English, history, sport, physics and biology but my favorite subjects is biology and physics as later, I'd like to become a world-renowned surgeon. I'd like to be able to save people you'd never think could be saved. I know I will have to study very hard and for a long time but I am motivated.
I am the third of four in my family : I have two big brothers, Corentin, and Mathias, and one little sister, Manon 6 years old. For a long time I was the lonely girl in my family ( except my mum ) until my sister’s birth. So I used to be a tomboy.
I practiced gymnastics since I am 5 years old and participate to competitions at regional level. I love trying new skills more and more difficult, and I like the stress before started the sequence.
Occasionally, I play tennis with my father and grandfather and go scouting with my friends
During winter, I and my family like to ski.
I love doing handcrafts, going out with my friends and talking during hours and hours or go to a party. On the other hand I like staying at home and playing at boardgame with my family.
In my family, we used to spend time together during the week end even if my two brothers left home for studying. We like gardening, playing cards, watching movies together.
Since few years, I think about spending one year in the US for many reasons : I hope to become fluent in English, discover new culture, habits and new people around the world, live as an American student because I know teaching is different than in France.
Thank you so much for being willing to participate in the exchange program and accepting me to live with your family.
Warm Regards,
Alexia
