I'm excited to write you this letter and share with you a little bit more about myself. My name is Anaïs, I can't wait to live with you, even if it's only for a year, which will surely become the most rewarding experience of my life. Two years ago, I went to discover your beautiful country. I am indeed lucky to have two uncles living in the State of NY where I have not met my cousins much and where I decided that I wanted to know more about this beautiful country. Since then, I have only dreamed of discovering the United States, and living the life of a typical American teenager! Let me start by telling you about my family and friends. I am fortunate to have a loving and caring family. I have a younger brother, Hedi, who is in his first year of high school. My parents, on the other hand, are great people, always ready to encourage and guide me in my choices so that I can succeed in life. We love spending time together, whether it's going bowling, baking cookies at Christmas, or just watching a movie or series together. In addition, my father is the one who wins most often at bowling, which frustrates my brother and me a lot. Spending time with my family is precious to me, and I can't wait to share those moments with you. I have been a swimmer since the age of 6 years old and I play Flute for 6 years. I unfortunately had to stop swimming and flute because of my very load timetable. In my free time I like to take pictures, read fantasy books and manga, I love drinking Bubble Tea, spending time with my friends, drawing, listening to music and watching Christmas series and movies. My favorite dish is sushi. I'd love to have a great camera for my birthday or Christmas. My friends and I, love to dress up for Halloween and Carnival. I'm quite curious, so I try not to listen to just one style of music. I listen to a lot of pop and kpop music, electronic, classical, rock and many more. I don't have a favorite music, but I love Olivia Rodrigo's Can't Catch Me Now, Taylor Swift's Wildest Dreams and Coldplay's Viva La Vida, songs that are very different but that I love. My favorite movies are Harry Potter and The Hunger Games. In high school, I discovered a passion for social and economic sciences, which has become my favorite subject. I also love science and life of the earth because it allows me to better understand the world around me and to look at it from a new perspective. I also like Mathematics because even if this subject is quite complex, it allows me to go further than the tip of my nose. What differentiates me from others in my opinion is my curiosity and my thirst for discovery. I love learning new things and discovering new cultures. I am open-minded and ready to adapt to new situations. I think it will make it easy for me to integrate into your family and have an unforgettable experience. I love to travel, and I believe that each place has its own charm. I can't wait to get to know your country and soak up its culture and traditions. I am ready to invest myself fully in my new life as a member of your family and to contribute positively to your daily life.
